The Frank Doolan Mixed Foursomes competition was played at Centenary Park CC on 23 September. There were twenty mixed pairs competing, including quite a number of players being introduced to their team mate on the day. This always leads to a few surprises and many laughs as shots can end up in places you have never been. The gross winners on the day were Sam and Trevor Scheppers, both returning to golf after long term injuries. It was wonderful to see them on the course again. The nett winners were Pat and Greg Doolan. It was exciting for them to win this event.
